It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amparo Portillo of Wall, Texas, who passed away on April 5, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Vasquez and Andrea Pena Vasquez; and her sister Estela Vasquez. She is survived by: her husband Rafael Portillo; her sons, Edward Portillo (Carizza) and David Portillo; her grandchildren, Alexander Jeremiah Rodriguez, David Portillo and Adrian Portillo; and her siblings, Juanita Hernandez Jensen, David Vasquez, Lydia Vasquez Guenthner (John), Amanda Ware, Sandra Torralba, Anita Vasquez, Lupe Vasquez, Richard Vasquez (Becky) and Paul Vasquez (Irene). She is also survived by numerous loving family members and friends.

Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin, capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries. Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
