He was predeceased by: his mother Paula Aguilar; his son David Amaya; and his sister Mary Luna. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Saldana Amaya; his children, Robert Amaya (Geraldine), Jerry Amaya (Maria), Connie A. Gonzales (Adam) and Mary Ann Mendoza (Frank); and his brother Jerry Amaya. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and loving family and friends.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin, capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries. Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
