He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Candelas, Sr. and Lupe Candelas; his granddaughter Elora Trinidad Candelas; and his sisters, Gloria Guzman and Mary Lupe Saucedo.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Candelas (Mary), Eric Candelas (Lisa Alba), Carol Candelas, Ruben Candelas (JoAnn), Rachel Mendez, Michael Candelas (Amanda), Lydia Ann Candelas, John Paul Candelas and Lisa Marie Candelas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin, capacity levels are restricted and reduced at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries. Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
