It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Savage McFarlin of Waelder, Texas, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon McFarlin and Bannice Leath McFarlin; and his brothers, Travis McFarlin and Richard McFarlin. He is survived by: his wife Maureen McFarlin; his sons, Steven McFarlin (Penny) and James McFarlin; his grandsons, Anthony Jones and Jackson McFarlin; and his sisters, Sharon Hudson (John), DeAnn Hauptrief (Terry) and Kelly Woytek (Dave). He is also survived by his boys, and the rest of his family.
