He is survived by: his wife Martha Benefield Lee; his siblings, Theresa Kocurek (Andy), Jerry Duty (Gary) and Charles Daniel Lee (Claudia); his siblings-in-law, Bobby Benefield of Fort Worth and Mary Darnell Roberts of San Augustine; his mother-in-law Mary Lou Garrett Benefield of San Augustine; and his brother-in-law Larry Benefield (Glen Benefield) of San Augustine.
Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church in Brenham.
