She was predeceased by: her parents, Dozier F. Birdwell and Leola Ellen Chandler Birdwell; her husband Oscar; her children, Larry Ackley and Dianne Ackley Wood; her siblings, Roy Chandler Birdwell and Betty Payne; and her stepsister Anita Curlee.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Zachary Wood (Arleen), Dena Shelton and Kelly Pond; her nephew Trent Payne (Cindy); and her niece Susan Vieregge (Bruce).
