He is survived by: his father Tommy Roy Bates; his daughter Lindsey Delaine Bates (Scott) of China Spring; his mother Betty Joan Bates of Lorena; his wife Teena; his sisters, Tami Brooker and Shelley Ashley (Tim); his nephews, Jarred Ashley (Halley) and Gage Ashley; and his grandchildren, Luke Wachsmann and Kinsley Wachsmann. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, a great niece and nephew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lake Shore Funeral Home (5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco, TX 76708).
