He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Moody and Theona Moody (Delaveris). He is survived by: his wife Velinda Moody (Veselka); his children, Benjamin, Steve, Jr. and Audra; and his siblings, Melissa Parsons, Tina Morgan, Ray Moody, Jr. and Ted Moody. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home (3124 Robinson Dr, Waco, TX 76706). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (2124 S 5th St, Waco, TX 76706).
