It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Madalene Pierce of Waco, Texas, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Powley and Blanche Powley; and her husband Edward Henry Pierce. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Pierce Harper (Donald) of Oklahoma, Michael Pierce (Diane) of Colorado and Victor Pierce (Angela Ceccato) of Kentucky; her grandchildren, Michael Burgess, Sara Pierce, Robert Pierce, Jessika Smith, Heather Harper Ely, Jacob Pierce and Clifford Curry; and her great grandchildren, Gabriella, Elliot, Alvin, Robert, Caroline and Raleigh.
