It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby J. Teague (Waco, Texas), who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Truehitt and Vicy Alice Truehitt (Pierce); her siblings, William "Buddy" Truehitt, Dorothy Netherland, Jewel Farmer, Doris "Polly" McCurdy and Ruth McWhirter; her children, Terry Whiteley, Nancy Shirey, Charles Whiteley and Richard Whiteley; her grandson Robert Witt; and her great grandchild Elizabeth JoAnn Whiteley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mildred (Keith Chalifoux) of Onalaska and Carolyn (John Collier) of Pasadena, Texas; and her sister-in-law Loraine Price of Bruceville. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Connally-Compton Funeral Directors (4400 W Waco Dr, Waco, TX 76710). A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Connally /Compton Funeral Directors (4400 W Waco Dr, Waco, TX 76710).
