She was predeceased by: her son John Luscombe; and her parents, Vera Inez French and Leslie Lee Bradburn. She is survived by: her son James Luscombe III; and her siblings, Sharon Shoemake (Glenn) of Gainesville, Lesley Eland (Mike) of Houghton Lake, Michigan and Shelby Bradburn (Clare) of Waco.

She was a volunteer for the nurse's station at her children's school, worked with the American Heart Association and Cancer Society, and was even a volunteer as a home room mother.
