Reynold William Ramer Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Reynold William Ramer Jr. of Waco, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynold William Ramer and Anna Mae Malcolm (Ramer); his stepfather Gordon Malcolm; his former wife Mary Grace Ramer; his sister Peggy Mattson (Ramer); his brother-in-law Gary Mattson; his niece Shanna Mattson; his sister-in-law Sherry Ramer; his niece Patti Larkin (Ramer); his nephew Steve Ramer; his mother-in-law Jenny Lind Stubblefield; and his brother-in-law Allen Stubblefield.
He is survived by: his son Matthew William; his wife Jean Ramer of Waco; his daughters, Katy Ramirez and Ginniene Taylor (Tim); his brothers, Gary Ramer (Martha), Larry (Sharon) and Billy Ramer (Ruth); his grandchildren, Mya Ramer, Ryland Ramer, Samuel Taylor (Alexa), Christina Watters (Taylor), Kyleigh Holmes-Martin and Braedyn Holmes-Martin; his great grandchild Cillian Watters; his nieces and nephews, Brent, Brian, Blake Mattson, Brad Ramer, Linda Currie (Ramer), Missy Yee (Ramer), Mary Kaye Wonner (Ramer), Angie Wells (Ramer) and Sherry Paul (Ramer); and his pet Dudley.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home (3124 Robinson Dr, Waco, TX 76706). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (2124 S 5th St, Waco, TX 76706).
Memorials can be made to either Samaritan's Purse or Salvation Army.
