He was predeceased by: his parents, Porfirio, Sr. Calderon and Filomena Lopez Calderon; his wife Irene Rodriguez; and his siblings, Beatrice, Susie, Lena, Ruby, Adolfo and Gesipo.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Calderon (Rita) of Waco, TX and Jo Ann Olvera (Guadalupe) of Waco, TX; his grandchildren, Anthony Olvera (Cristina), Alex Olvera, Michael Calderon, Jr. and Marisa Calderon; his great grandchildren, Sofia and Mara; and his brother Charlie Calderon of Donna, TX.. He is also survived by his family, and especially all of his grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
