He was predeceased by: his wife Ofelia C. Garcia; his son Roland Garcia; his stepfather Antonio J. Quintero; his mother Julia G. Quintero; and his sister Lupita (Charlie Sifuentes).
He is survived by: his children, Christina G. Tejada of Brownsville, Mary E. Garcia of Waco, Esmeralda Stanfill (Mark) of Waco, Theresa F. Jordan of Fort Worth and Lawrence J. Garica of Waco. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
