She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Padgett and Mary Adcock Padgett; and her daughter Kathy Burson. She is survived by: her brothers, Charles and Joe Padgett; her husband Bob Diehl; her children, Evelyn Murphy (Tootie) of Fort Worth and Robert Diehl (Rusty) of Mabank; her granddaughters, Jenise Francis, Denise Carlson, Shelley Hitchcock, Erica Burton, Emily Lewis, Kasondra Henderson, Karrissa Edwards and Kerri Turner; and also Mike Ferus (Paula).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home (3124 Robinson Dr, Waco, TX 76706). A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rosemound Cemetery (3201 S 12th St, Waco, TX 76706).
