We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2025, at the age of 89, Martha E. Thornton (Waco, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lee Britton and Ella Britton (Collier); her husband Alton Thornton; her brothers, Walter and Lester Britton; and her grandson Billy Jack Whiddon.
She is survived by: her children, John Thornton and Quata; her son-in-law Billy Whiddon; her grandchildren, Christy (Lance), Tammy (Anthony), Christopher and David; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Bralyn, Liam and Lily.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lake Shore Funeral Home (5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco, TX 76708).
