It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mable Elaine Griffith of Waco, Texas, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Griffith and Mae Jean Griffith; her brother Sherrell "Butch" Griffith; her nephew Todd Griffith; and her boyfriend Ron Spencer.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Griffith-Eskew (James) of Waco, Texas; her grandchildren, Lyla Eskew and Colton Eskew; her great grandchild Callan Eskew of Waco; her sister Debra Scroggins; her sister-in-law Saundra Griffith Grinage (late Butch Griffith) of Newcastle; and her nieces and nephews, Kayla Nail (Karl) of Newcastle, Leslie Chester Griffith (late Todd Griffith), Ty Griffith (Teri Ann) of Maumelle and Whitney Fambrough (Ben) of Yukon, Oklahoma..
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Asher Point (3209 Village Green Dr, Waco, TX 76710).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Newcastle Education Foundation or to Wounded Warrior Project in her memory.
