She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Wayne Welch; her parents, Jessie Lee McMurray and Lucy Marie McMurray; and her brother-in-law Jerry Lee Welch. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Layne Welch of Fields Store and Jeffery Wade Welch (Dana Welch) of Katy, Texas.; her granddaughters, Taylor Marie Welch of Brenham and Ashtyn Leigh Welch of De Leon, Texas.; her brother Larry Ross McMurray (Neysa Sue McMurray) of Meridian; her siblings-in-law, David Don Welch (Sandy) of Dallas and Linda Joyce Benner (Jack) of Tyler, Texas.; and her great-niece Linda. She is also survived by her brother's best friend and her soulmate.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the College Station Cemetery (2530 Texas Ave S, College Station, TX 77840). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the The Embassy Suites (201 University Dr E, College Station, TX 77840).
