Lary Dean Kosar Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lary Dean Kosar (Waco, Texas), born in Creston, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lary Dean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lary Dean farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kosar and Grace Kosar; his siblings, Mary Stender, Billy Kosar and Joseph Kosar; and his great grandchild Shawnee Walts.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kosar; his brother Johnny Kosar (Mary Ann); and his children, Peggy McCollum (Ronald McCollum), Doris Chandler (David Chandler), Paula Kosar and William Kosar (Kathy Kosar). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lake Shore Funeral Home (5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco, TX 76708). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bosqueville Cemetery (7327 Rock Creek Rd, Waco, TX 76708).
