He is survived by: his children, Debra Elizabeth Gerstorff (Wendell, Jr.), Betsy Heflin Oxner (Jeff) and Michael Forsythe (Tami); his former wife Patricia Forsythe; and his daughter Kim Walters. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
