She was predeceased by: her parents, Earle Vincent Guthrie and Elnora Jane Wilkerson Guthrie. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Vaughn; her daughter Baylor Kay Stapleton (Syed Mazhar); her grandchildren, Sarah and Yunus; her brothers, Stan Guthrie (Rhonda) and Darren Guthrie (Carol); and her aunts, Faye Estein and Geraldine Whitlow. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
