She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Carlos Fernandez, Francisco Castaneda and Guadalupe Fernandez. She is survived by: her husband Matthew; her children, Addison and Kaylee; her parents, Laura P. Contreras (Victor) and Thomas Castaneda (Pat Lara); her brothers, Thomas Matthew (Desiree) and James Patrick Castaneda; and her grandmother Augustina Castaneda. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the OakCrest Funeral Home (4520 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX 76710). A Mass was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2621 Bagby Ave, Waco, TX 76711).
