We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2024, at the age of 80, Karen Sue Blake (Waco, Texas), born in Clovis, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, Billy Lawrence Blake, Loren Drew Blake and L. G. "Burr" Blake; her parents, Billy Wade Turner and Eva Aline Coker Turner; and her aunt Betty Jeane Turner Coker.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, GaGa, Eva Grace DeCluitt, Blake Robert DeCluitt and Katheryn Kapfer; her daughter Kristi DeCluitt; her son-in-law Christopher DeCluitt of Waco, Texas; her sister Becky Hardcastle; her brother-in-law Gary Hardcastle; her sister Marty Thomas of Memphis, Tennessee; her nieces, Cindy Smith of Amarillo, Texas. and Mindy Brashears (Todd); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Bailey, Reagan and Presley; her nephew Marcus Hardcastle (Heather); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Justin, Houston and Sierra.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garden Room at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home (6101 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX 76710). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home (6101 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX 76710).
