She was predeceased by: her parents, Mollie Kate Tyler (Landingham) and James Vea Tyler; her daughters, Marcia Kay Chisholm and Kerrie Renee Chisholm; her husband Robert Schroeder, Jr.; and her son Gerald Alan Schroeder.
She is survived by: her son Timothy Warren Schroeder (Kathy); her granddaughters, Kimberly Anne Schroeder and Christina Diane Schroeder; and her brother-in-law Wesley Schroeder (Darlene). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Foundation or American Heart Association.
