In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Juan had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Juan may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Apolinar Jesus and Maria De Jesus (Perales); and his wife Sonia Banda (Garcia). He is survived by: his children, Maria Olga Hernandez (Banda), Ruben Banda (Rosa), Ricardo Banda and Juan A. Banda (Marylou). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, and one brother.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Connally-Compton Funeral Directors (4400 W Waco Dr, Waco, TX 76710). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2621 Bagby Ave, Waco, TX 76711).
