We bid farewell to Joyce Burleson of Waco, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 9, 2025 at the age of 92. Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Vanice and Mildred Pearce Doss of Big Hill, Texas.; her brother Marion Doss; her husband Bill "PeeWee" Burleson; her children, Rhonda Burleson Headen and James "Jim" Burleson; and her grandparent D'Ann Connally.
She is survived by: her son-in-law David Connally; her daughter Debbie Connally of Waco; her son-in-law Eddie Headen of Riesel; her grandchildren, Scott, Alisha Headen of Groesbeck, TJ, Misti Johnston of Lorena, Doug Burleson of Whitney, Travis, Dara Burleson of Robinson, Derek and Megan Connally of Magnolia; and her great grandchildren, Zach Ty (Madeley), Jonathan, Colby, Payton Headen, Cody (Karisa), Brant Johnston (Stevie), Haden Johnson, Margaux, Eva Burleson, Wyatt Burleson, Laney, Devyn and Champ Connally. She is also survived by ten great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (701 E Texas Ave, Mart, TX 76664).
