He was predeceased by: his mother Consuelo Garcia; and his siblings, Lucy Hernandez, Janie Susita, Lanor Vasquez, Simeon Garcia, Frank Garcia, Jesse Garcia and Robert Garcia.

He is survived by: his children, Johnny Garcia, Jr., Michael Garcia, Christopher Castro, Richard Garcia and Vanessa Marquez. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
