She is survived by: her husband Roy Ortega; her mother Johnnie Arnell Bequette (Chamblee) of Cahokia, IL; her siblings, Wynnfred Batey Jr. of Axtell, TX, Edward Bequette of New Port Richey, FL, Rhonda Baudendistel of Cahokia, IL and Tammy Bequette of Granite City, IL; and also, Chris, Isabel Ortega of Waco, TX, Isabell, Emmitt, Elaya, Marcella Garcia, John, Kimberly Robinson of Robinson, TX, Landon, Emery, Matthew, Alicia Robinson of Robinson, TX, Faith, Maxwell, Wyatt, Ashton, Amanda, Robert Sleeper of College Station, TX, Ashley, Lyon Vinson of Riesel, TX, Justice, Liberty, Kayla Ortega, Shawn Buck of China Spring, TX, Annabelle and Nolan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home (3124 Robinson Dr, Waco, TX 76706). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Waco Memorial Park (6623 I-35 N, Selma, TX 78154).
