In the vast expanse of eternity, John William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ruth and Patsy Ruth; and his wife Veronica Elaine Dudik. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Harness of Waco and Lori Bartels of Valley Mills; and his grandchildren, Braxton of Valley Mills, Lane of Valley Mills, Ella of Valley Mills and Jake Bartels of Valley Mills.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Valley Mills Valley Mills, TX (302 Avenue C, Valley Mills, TX 76689).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Valley Mills Youth Baseball Association, PO Box 234, Valley Mills, TX 76689 (Bartels scholarship account).
