He was predeceased by: his parents, Ysaias Martinez and Carlota Martinez; and his son Frankie Martinez. He is survived by: his wife Marina Gonzales; his children, Janie Jasso, Debbie Hurtado, Joe Jr. (Mary), Fredrick (Shannon) and David (Melissa); and his grandsons, Ernie Garcia, Joe Martinez III, Eric Lee Jasso, Miguel Hurtado, Joshua Martinez and Jeremy Martinez. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
