She was predeceased by: her husband Harmon Spikes Jr.; her parents, Burl Columbus and Lottie Steele Vinzant; and her siblings, Lorraine Sadler, John Vinzant, Lewis Vinzant, Fleta Gopffarth and Burl C. Vinzant.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Spikes (Caline), Robert Keith Spikes (Mandy), Judy Cleghorn and Brenda McGee (Tommy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
