Gaynell Mitchell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2025, Gaynell Mitchell (Waco, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Holladay and Clorene Holladay (Young); her brother Donnie Holladay; and her son Kelly Reese Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Duane Mitchell, Teresa Taylor (Mark) and Britt Mitchell (Joretta); her grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Brandi, Briana, Corey, Brooklynn and Brina Mae; her great grandchildren, Aiyana, Lilly, Michael, Elijah, Charlotte, Koda, Bradley, Ryleigh and Grayson; and her siblings, Juandell Blackwood, Cynthia Bryant and Keith Holladay (Sue). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel (5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco, TX 76708). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Rest Haven Cemetery.
