She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Kenneth Thigpen and Edith Ruth Thigpen (Bullard); her sister Sue Owensby; and her stepgrandson Colin Stone. She is survived by: her husband John B. Jacobs; her brother-in-law Stewart Owensby; her sisters, Ruth Schwille (Ed) and Madeline Rigoni (Rick); her stepdaughter Jennifer Stone (Taylor); her granddaughters, Emily, Sarah and Mary; her stepdaughter Christy Crowson (Jon); her grandson Charlie; and her stepgrandson Jesse.
