She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Benton and Katherine Jackson; her siblings, Willie Ruth Prentis-Duffey, Evelyn Marie Walker, Yvonne DeCarlo Gaskin and Ervin Lee Barnett Jr.; her son John LeRoy Richards Jr.; and her granddaughter Brittany Rayne Richards.
She is survived by: her children, Edwina Jackson (Reginald), Robert Richards and Stefan Richards; her daughter-in-law Alexandria Richards; her siblings, Dorothy Foster and Frank Barnett; her grandchildren, Aaron, Amber, Christopher, Taylor, Blake, Xavier and Jordan; and her close friend Lois Mixon. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
