He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Johnson and Sallie Johnson (Shaw); his daughter Rosalyn Johnson; his brother Rev. James Richard Johnson; and his grandson Bryan Bledsoe.
He is survived by: his wife Goldberta Johnson (Summers); his daughters, Pamela of Dallas, Jacqueline of Dallas and Tamaria Johnson of Dallas; his sister Mary Clater of Jacksonville, TX; his grandchildren, Christopher Francis (Tiara), Ryan Bledsoe, Asia Johnson, Justin Watley and Jacques Johns; his great grandchildren, Cariree Francis, Ti'An Francis and Christopher Francis, II; his nephew Christopher Johnson; and his caregiver Cindy Page.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (2124 S 5th St, Waco, TX 76706).
