She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Marek and Ella Marek; her husband Louie John Veselka; her siblings, Georgianne Allen and Gilbert Marek; and her brothers-in-law, Adolf Veselka, Gus Veselka, James Frazier and Robert Kasik.
She is survived by: her daughter Diana Engelke (John) of Waco; her grandson Justin Engelke (Misha) of Waco; her great grandchildren, Mira and Jackson Engelke; her sisters, Joyce Johnson (John) of Carrollton and Jolynn Kasik of West; and her sisters-in-law, Elleen Frazier of Hewitt and Lillian Marek of West. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dorothy's name to the SPJST Foundation in Temple.
