He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Herbert and Ada Louise Reed Barrett; and his grandfather Don. He is survived by: his significant other Darlene Virginia Harbin; his children, Daryl Romalis Barrett, Darla Louise Barrett and Doyle Clay Barrett; his grandchildren, Shana, Ashley, Brett and Micah; and his children, Don and Darlene. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews and numerous extended family.
