He was predeceased by: his parents, Theophila Felixa and Alexander Paul Burzynski; his brothers-in-law, Norman Brunk and Robert Maye; and his nephew Guy Kitchen.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Walton Burzynski; his children, Amy Lyn Johnson (Marcus) and Brian Vincent Burzynski (Michelle); his grandchildren, Cameron Johnson, Annabelle Burzynski and Elyza Burzynski; his siblings, Alexandra Maye, Janice Brunk, Diane Jayko (Larry), Gerald, James and Alfred Burzynski; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Walton and Beverly Carter (Raymond).
