She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bessire and Glenease Bessire; her husband Eugene Knapek; her siblings, Linda Tumillo and Terry Thomas; her stepsister Michelle Connell; and her father-in-law Ben Knapek.
She is survived by: her daughter Alexis Paige "Blair" Knapek (Matt); her stepson Scott Neff (Charles Neff); her granddaughter Emma Neff; her siblings, Carol Riggs and Keith Thomas; her stepsister Kimberly Hawkins; her stepmother Barbara Bessire; her mother-in-law Lottie Knapek; her brother-in-law Larry Knapek; and her friend Bill Bauer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (4901 Cobbs Dr, Waco, TX 76710).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ALS Association.
