He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Clemons and Velma Clemons; and his brothers, Roy "Kookie" Clemons and Charlie Clemons. He is survived by: his wife Venetia Grogan; his daughter Shannon West (Steve West, Sr.); his grandchildren, Steven West, Jr. (Victoria) and Destany West Perez (Phillip Perez); and his great grandchildren, Joshua West and Sienna Perez.
