He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Virgil Weathers and Dovie Sikes Weathers; his wife Jean Eleanor Kay; and his siblings, Roy D. Weathers and Dorothy M. Weathers.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara K. Weathers of Waco, Texas and Dr. Charles W. Weathers of Waco; and his brothers, Doyle M. Weathers (Peggy) of Lakewood, Colorado and Dr. G. Wendell Weathers (Susan) of Sikeston, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
