He was predeceased by: his parents, Reeves Bowen and Sarah Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Doris Bowen (Hardy) of Waco, Texas; his daughters, Leigh Ann Alford (Craig) of Bedford and Billie Korsunskiy (Dmitry) of Midland, Texas; and his grandchildren, Hailey Alford of Dallas, Texas. and Jacob Alford of Dallas, Texas..

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home (6101 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX 76710). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
