She is survived by: her children, Robert Manuel Patena (Sue) of Washougal, Luiz Patena (Cynthia) of Waco, Rosie Padilla (John) of Waco, Ermina Salazar (Travis), Ralph Patena (Paula) of Waco and Maria Schoeplein (Anthony) of Vancouver, Washington; and her brother Cruz Garcia, Jr. (Pauline) of Temple. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
