She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Kelley (Magill) and Col. George W. Kelley; and her great grandchild Teresa-Ann Dooley. She is survived by: her spouse Patricia L. Dixon; her brother Russell Kelley (Beverly) of Florida; her children, Ron Peters (Paula) of China Spring, Catherine Castanon of Hewitt and Christi Hulme (Brett) of Georgia; and her grandchildren, Cody Lankford (Brittney), Brittney Dooley (Chris), Alan Harvey, Trent (Katie) and Annah (Brett).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Fuzzy Friends of Waco or an animal shelter of your choice, honoring Barbara's love for animals and her compassionate spirit.
