With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Aubrey L. Tucker Jr. in Waco, Texas, born in Stamford, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Aubrey L. may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Aubrey L. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Lee Tucker, Sr. and Argie Garrett Tucker; his wife Katherine Matthys (Kathy); his sister Pat Webb; and his stepsiblings, Shirley Guetzkow and Roger Yarbrough.
He is survived by: his children, Denise and Tim (Ashley); his grandchildren, Hanna and Heath; and his sister-in-law Katharine Matthys. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the OakCrest Funeral Home (4520 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX 76710). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
