He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Bobbie DeAlva, Sandra Godfrey, Walter, Eddie and Derek Morse; his sisters, Rita Swinea and Paulette Brooks; and his close friend Paul Bess. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-children; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
