She is survived by: her husband Clarence O. Soignet; her son Charles Alan Lipscomb; her daughter-in-law Veronica Esquivel; her daughter Barbara D. Taylor; her brother William Merriman; and her stepchildren, Christopher Soignet and Melissa Bartley. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
