She was predeceased by: her parents, Tomas Castellanos and Tomasita Castellanos; and her husband Rafael Contreras. She is survived by: her children, Rafael Contreras, Jr. (Diana), Arecly Dunlap (Steven) and Maria Elena Rodriguez (Gilberto). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces.
