He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Ortiz and Guadalupe Ortiz. He is survived by: his wife Silvia Vasquez; his sons, Joe Raymond Vasquez Jr. and Adrian Vasquez (Ruby); and his brothers, Arturo Bonilla, Roy Bonilla (Vangie) and Jesse Ortiz (Melissa). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
