It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Mermella (Von Ormy, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on September 9, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Joe John Mermella; his brother Isaac Mermella Jr.; his grandparents, Rosaleo Flores, Lorenza Davilla and Juan Davilla; his uncle Raymond Davilla; his cousins, Alex Lara, Henry Diaz and Brenda Davilla; and his brother-in-law Mark Dwayne Carol.
He is survived by: his parents, Manuela Joe and Isaac Mermella Sr. Joe; his granddaughter Angel Mercedes; his sister Diana Rangel; his brothers-in-law, Martin Maldonado and Julian Ayala; and his nieces and nephews, Daniel Mermella, Darrell Mermella, Brianna Rangel, Samantha Rangel, Joe Raymond Vallado, Iris Lynn Ortiz, Destinee Dawn Haines and Mercedes Deane Haines. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
